The Foundation to Change the Brand of Science is a new organization, founded in 2008, and has applied for tax-exempt 501 (c)3 status. The board is currently composed of educators, researchers, grant and public relations experts, and a PhD scientist.



Our aim is to mount an impactful national advertising and marketing campaign to:

  • teach Americans what science is;
  • introduce them to the scientists in their daily lives;
  • demonstrate that science is a creative, engaging endeavor that works to solve mankind’s problems, making life better for neighbors at home and around the globe; and
  • portraying scientists in a heroic light, inspiring children to emulate them
